Do you like (or love or even adore) singing and music, and have been searching for a choir to join? 

SEARCH NO MORE! We are the Joy-choir from the University of Eastern Finland, and we are looking for brand new members to strengthen our ranks and harmonies.

The Joy-choir is a dynamic and diverse choir, which in addition to performing at official UEF events, performs in variety of shows and concerts. The repertoire varies from classical music to Disney-songs and Abba-hits!

Interested? Come audition and join us! No previous choir experience is required.

As for everything, the Covid-pandemic is currently hampering our activities a little, but we are keeping the music alive and have decided to move our auditions online.

All you have to do is record a video, which has:

• A short presentation about yourself and your musical background if you have any
• You singing along to the « Please Come Kiss Me Now » -canon (audio file and lyrics below)
• + Optional: you singing a song of your own choice

Send your video as a Youtube-link or as a video attachment to kuoronjohtaja@joykuoro.fi by the 28th of January.
